The national coat of arms of Slovenia is a shield
with the image of Triglav, Slovenia's highest peak. It is located
in the upper hoist side of the flag centered in the white and
blue bands. Beneath it are two undulating blue lines which represent
the sea and rivers and above which are located three golden,
six-pointed stars arranged in an inverted triangle. |
The Slovenian
national anthem is the seventh stanza of the France Prešeren
poem Zdravljica (A Toast). It has been set to music by Stanko
Premrl's choral composition of the same name. |
