The Georgian flag is composed of a
white rectangle with a red cross in its central portion connecting
all four sides of the flag. A small red bolnur-katskhuri cross
appears in each of the four corners. |

In use since the popular of april 2004, the Georgian
national anthem is based on words from Dawit Magradse. The
music was taken from the Georgian operas "Abesalom da Eteri"
and "Daisi" by the Georgian composer Zakaria Paliashvili,
and were composed into an anthem by Joseb Ketschakmadse. |
